How to paint a dragon's head

This is a simple and effective method of painting a dragon's head.

The Water Dragon Fantasy Mold (WDrg) was used to cast this mold in polymer clay.

The paint the dragon's head with a generous amout of black acrylic paint. Gently wipe off the excess paint on the surface before the paint dries, while leaving it to settle in the crevices and define the dragon's skin.

If there are any areas where you feel there is too much paint, take a cotton bud dipped in water and wipe it off.

After the paint has dried its time to think about highlighter.

Using the highlighter of your choice paint the areas you think need it remembering less is more.

The Skull flower was painted using the same method as the dragon's head.
